Wir arbeiten vor Ort mit Missionaren der Assemblies of God Missionary Fellowship zusammen. Wir sp\u00fcren f\u00fcr uns Gottes Ruf hier auf den Philippinen, gemeinsam mit anderen Missionaren \u201eReich Gottes\u201c zu bauen. Dieser Ruf hat sich \u00fcber die Jahre entwickelt und wir haben erlebt, wie Gott T\u00fcren ge\u00f6ffnet und uns bis hierhin gef\u00fchrt hat. Wir sind froh und freuen uns dar\u00fcber, dass wir unseren Dienst hier tun d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir kennen heute nicht jedes Detail, sind aber fest davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass Gott uns mit Gebetspartnern, guten Freunden und den n\u00f6tigen Finanzen ausstatten und versorgen wird, damit unsere Mission erfolgreich wird. In der Metropolregion Manila leben \u00fcber 22 Millionen Menschen. Der Verkehr ist ein Chaos. Die vielen Jeepneys und Tricycles pr\u00e4gen das Bild und bilden die \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Wenn man mit den Jeepneys zwischen den verschiedenen Nachbarschaften hin und her f\u00e4hrt, sieht man den starken Unterschied in der Gesellschaft. Die einen wohnen in luxuri\u00f6sen Wolkenkratzern, doch ein Gro\u00dfteil der Menschen lebt in Slums und verdient weniger als einen Euro pro Tag.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Historisch haben die Philippinen mit China, Indien und dem mittleren Osten Handel getrieben. Sp\u00e4ter wurden sie besetzt von den Engl\u00e4ndern, kolonisiert von den Spaniern, regiert von Mexiko, wieder besetzt von Japan und waren fast 40 Jahre lang ein US-Territorium. Das macht die Philippinen zu einem au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Land im Ost-Asiatischen Raum, und zu einem strategischen Ort, um diese Region zu erreichen. Ca. 80 % der Philippinos z\u00e4hlen sich zur r\u00f6misch-katholischen Kirche. Ihr Glaube ist oft mit den traditionellen Br\u00e4uchen der Gegend kombiniert, andere praktizieren Animismus und Volksreligionen. Weniger als 10% sind evangelische Christen. You Shine unterst\u00fctzt Frauen, die aus der Prostitution aussteigen m\u00f6chten, indem sie ihnen die Liebe Jesu zeigen, Unterst\u00fctzung bieten und ihnen eine Chance auf einen Neuanfang durch Ausbildung und sichere Unterkunft geben. APM produziert Videos, Radioprogramme, Zeitschriften und Social Media Content, um das Evangelium auf zeitgerechte Art zu verbreiten. Daneben trainieren und unterst\u00fctzen sie Mitarbeiter in Gemeinden, eigene evangelistische Medienarbeiten aufzubauen und zu betreiben. In der Medienarbeit geht es nicht darum nur zu lernen welche Kn\u00f6pfe man dr\u00fccken muss. Es ist Bef\u00e4higung und Ermutigung das Evangelium in einer kulturrelevanten Art und Weise weiterzugeben.
