Heavy Rainfall and
Flooding in Manila
Dear friends, partners, and churches,
It has been raining heavily in the Philippines over the past few days. At times, the water in front of our village was knee-deep—it was impossible to drive through. The situation has since improved; the water has receded, and we are grateful that we are safe. Fortunately, we do not have to worry about flooding in our settlement.
However, more heavy rain is forecast for the coming days. Please pray with us for the Philippines—especially for the many people affected by the ongoing rain who do not live in as well-protected conditions as we do.
